About Shona
After a successful career in The City, Shona Hancock made the brave decision to give it all up and pursue her love of food and all things culinary! She sold her flat in Putney and moved out to Surrey to study at The Tante Marie School of Cookery in Woking. On achieving double distinction in her Cordon Bleu Diploma she set up The Purple Pantry in 2001, which she now runs from her home in Farnham.
Shona has achieved a great deal since her big career change, but her ambition
knows no bounds. She thrives on having a varied and interesting career and
continues to enjoy many different projects.
